Well now you have your puppy... sweet, palyful and that puppy breath! So, cute!
Now did you get everything for your new bundle? Do you remeber how to potty train a new fur baby? Have things changed from the many years ago, from the last pup you had?
I put this page to gether to help my buyers as well as many new puppy owners outh there! This is many of the things I do to train my dogs and have fine tuned it through the years! If I find a great new product, I will ad it to this site and you may try it for your new puppy or your current dog(s)!
Nutrition - Recommended Foods Used Here
Here at K-Lynn's Min Pins , Teddy Roosevelt Terriers and Harlequin Pinschers, we choose to use HOLISTIC human grade foods and treats as well as homemade meals at times for our expecting mothers.
Here is a list of product we have done research on and have used for many years. They have proven to be top notch for my dogs and puppies!

1.) Blue Buffalo - My first choice ALL around, for dog foods ! We use ADULT food for our puppies as well as our adults. The reason why we use ADULT food for out puppies is this - Too much protein will cause your dog to shoot up and become LEGGY, I am raising Min Pins, Teddies and HPA's NOT GIRAFFES!

Treats - Human Food
Treats we use are simple and they love them!
Homemade to Human Food!
Human food we use - (10% of our dogs DAILY intake)
~ Do this for special SPECIAL days (3 times a week) - Kibble should be eaten 90% of the time, we feed HOLISTIC Human Grade Kibble! ~
- Baked, Roasted and Grilled - CHICKEN! (NO SKIN)
- Brown Rice Steamed
- Raw Carrots & Steamed
- Cooked Grean Beans & Broccoli
- Apples, MELONS ( Stella's favorite)
- Chicken Broth Ice Cubes on a summers Day!
- Frozen Turkey Neck for teeth Cleaning!
- Any Venison (Deer meat) left over and FRESH BONES!
- Chicken liver (BAKED)
- We give CHEESE here also - in small amounts and to WRAP a pill and great for calcium after the mothers give birth - IN small amounts, cottage cheese, yellow and white cheese! ~ String Cheese is #1 here!~
- YOGURT - A tablespoon when pups, to provide the GOOD cultures in the gut! Also when taking antibiotics!
- Frozen Yogurt - Summer or anytime, VANILLA ! We got through the frozen Yogurt Drive through and they get "Pup Cones" - Deeee lish!
Note - Start slow if you choose to do this, and give small amounts... AND never from the table! Make them wait until YOU the HUMAN have eaten, then make them do a trick or commant before feeding them ( example - Sit, stay then give the food!) dogs NEED this to excercise their minds and have direction! make sure your dogs have manners as well... not RUDE dogs here, they all behave like well mannered little angels!

- No red food coloring - I had one of my dogs have a Pancreatic attack for the lovely additive! If it is RED OR ORANGE..Move on!
- Too Small they will choke!
- ALWAYS supervise your dogs with Chewies!
- AND...too much and they will get FAT FAT FAT! As puppies give treats when they have done their business, but only for a few weeks! ALSO, bait your dogs in puppy class and obedience class - then wean them off to do the command for simply JUST YOUR LOVE AND PRAISE!
- All treat should be a SMALL potion of DIET - two to 3 times

Do you need a supplement with GREAT dog food, no not really.... but I want my dogs to be in top shape and condition and remember, every little bit helps! So I only use a few items to BOOST my dogs and I only use it every other day! Every day 2 weeks before whelping and 5 weeks after!
